The Thai REIT Plan invests in Property and/ or Infrastructure funds and/or Property (REIT) and/or Infrastructure unit trusts. The risk of fund is fairly high due to price fluctuation. However, the fund can deliver good return in the long-term. Member who is interested in plan are required to undertake the GPF’s Risk Tolerance Assessment and their risk tolerance level needs to be at level 4 (highest risk tolerance).

This plan has fairly high risk due to both overall market volatility and liquidity risk of individual security. The fund is expected to outperform inflation as well as bonds over the long-term period. However, in short-term period, the fund is exposed to risk of price fluctuation. It is suitable for members who can tolerate short-term price fluctuation and has long-term investment horizon.
The plan is appropriate for member who has high risk tolerance and has long-term investment horizon. Member who is interested in this plan should be well educated in investment products.
